At Studio 417, we begin each client journey with a 15-20 minute discovery call, allowing us to get acquainted with your project needs and goals. This complimentary phone or video chat is an ideal first step for potential clients to share their vision, while we provide insight into our approach and services. By starting with this conversation, we ensure that our team is the right fit for your design aspirations before moving forward with a consultation, streamlining the process for a truly personalized experience.
Following our initial discovery call, the consultation serves as an in-depth exploration of your design vision and lifestyle. This session allows us to listen to your specific challenges within the space and understand the aesthetic and functional goals you envision. During the consultation, we’ll provide immediate design insights to help you envision the possibilities and offer a glimpse into our approach. If we’re a match to bring your vision to life, we’ll proceed with developing a comprehensive action plan, including measurements and photos of the areas to be transformed.
To schedule your consultation, please select a day and time and complete the brief form so we can prepare for a session focused entirely on your unique needs
The contract will be signed at the start of this phase and the design deposit (%50 of the overall fee) will be paid. Then, with your feedback and gathered inspiration from our consultation, your design plan is developed. This process will take 8 weeks. Once the plan is complete, we will schedule a time to review the project together. Your design plan will include: space planning, layout, room boards (per space), a clickable shopping list to facilitate the purchasing of the furniture, finishes, and decor for the project.
If this is a traveling design project, we require that travel and lodging are covered by the client.
Once the design plan has been approved, we will manage the planning of any skilled tradesmen needed to complete our project (i.e. contractors, handymen, electricians, painters, etc.). If preferred, we offer purchasing and delivery scheduling services. The fee is based on the scope of items sourced.
After the client has cleared out the space(s) in their home, we will come in and get to work bringing the design to life. Once the work is done, all furniture will be placed and the space(s) will be styled and photographed. Once we've wrapped everything up, you get to sit back and enjoy your new space!
